Michael and Freddie Mercury

5:25 AM

Michael with Freddie Mercury

Michael and Freddie were such good friends and they recorded some songs together but due to the fact that they were on tour and couldn’t see each other they couldn’t finish them together. Freddie and Michael were talking on the phone every day when they were away and Michael went to see Queen live couple of times. Queen played their song “Somebody To Love” and “Another One Bites the Dust” to Michael and he advised Freddie to release them as singles since Michael thought that they are such great songs.

This song "There Must Be More To Life Than This" was written by Freddie Mercury and intended to be a duet with Michael Jackson. However this song as a duet with Michael remained unreleased due to the reason that Michael and Freddie were both on tours and didn’t have time to finish the song.

Freddie on an interview said:

as long as our friendship carries on, we can write all kinds of songs

Freddie and Michael recorded another two songs that are still unreleased which are the “the State of Shock” written by Michael Jackson and “Victory” which were meant to be on The Jacksons Victory album.
Also Freddie said that one of his favorite song was 'Thriller' by Michael.
Michael and Freddie remained good friends. All the rumors saying stuff are NOT true.
